I'm looking to buy my first kayak. I want something light and stable, preferably with a hatch, for day tripping or one nighters. please give details (model, weight, length, condition, and price). Thanks

I have the Walden Vista Expedition. Aat 12.5 ft. it weighs 42 lbs right on.It has a hatch and a bulkhead in the stern. Scroll down a bit on this link. http://www.waldensports.com/recreational.html I like it a lot. It's made from recycled bottles. I keep it out of the sun when not using it. It should last a long time. I was even able to roll it once but have not been able to duplicate this feat since. Hope it helps
