I'm considering building a wooden ocean kayak from a kit. Reasons: like woodwork (though never built a kayak), save money, have something unique and nice looking (and hopefully performing). Any advise form a builder/user will be much appreciated. What kayak kits would you recommend ( I live in Canada)?
