Well, it's getting to be that time. I haven't been in our canoe now for 2 weekends. There was ice forming in the inlets of the small lakes I was tripping. The winds of change have started blowing.. This weekend in particular may well be be the 'last of the best' but, those pre-winter chores must get done.... In the spring I purchased a Kevlar/carbon canoe. I kept in indoors through the summer up at the cottage. This winter I hope to store the canoe in the rafters of an unheated garage. Can these relatively fragile materials be damaged by the cold of the winter? Assuming the canoe is properly sealed and dry, can I safely store this canoe outdoors?

Thanks in Ottawa!

grins,

1. Ask the maker/dealer.

2. Probably. Most folks store their boats in places like that.
