I'm looking for a second kayak. I currently own a RiverRunner5 (last year), did some whitewater and flatwater, but didn't like the way the skeg kept coming off in the whitewater. I was wondering if someone knew of a good kayak that was suitable to both types of kayaking.

You shouldn't have the skeg on the boat for whitewater, you need to be able to turn the boat quickly and the skeg does a good job of preventing that!

Keep the RR5 for flat, unless you get serious, then get a sea kayak. Just get a second shorter boat for WW, there's plenty of used ones out there for $400-500.
