What kayak, or more likely what should a kayak be made out of, so that it won't warp on the roof rack of a car?

As long as you dont tie it down too tight any material would be fine to go on your roof, If you are storing it on you roof then roto mold (plastic) ones could warp in the hot sun. Jules
