What boat would be a good fit for a 6'4" and quite thin guy? (I am new at this and could use your advice as far as a starting point to look from). Thanks.

Well that really depends on several factors,What do you want to do with the boat, Ex touring,whitewater or just paddling around lakes,or slow rivers/streams. Second how much do you want to spend? I really cant answer you question until you provide a little more info as there are tons of boats for different needs that will fit you. Jules
