Hi there,

In the Georgian Bay area, what weather frequencies are available for forecasts - just 88.9 FM , or is their also anything in the 162 MHz region? Thanks

The first URL below doesn't list frequencies or transmitter locations. You can find this information at
http://www.msc-smc.ec.gc.ca/msb/awps/wxrdolst_e.cfm

This page lists the following transmitters in the Georgian Bay area:

Little Current (Channel 3 (162.475 MHz) : XMJ 375 : Power 76 W) Sudbury (Channel 2 (162.400 MHz) : XLJ 898 : Power 170 W) Rosseau (Channel 1 (162.550 MHz) : VBT 629 : Power 186 W) Orillia (Channel 2 (162.400 MHz) : VBV 562 : Power 145 W) Collingwood (Channel 3 (162.475 MHz) : XMJ 316 : Power 76 W) Port Elgin (Channel 1 (162.550 MHz) : XMJ 320 : Power 87 W)

And these two in the FM radio band: Parry Sound (FM (88.9 MHz) : CBPO-FM : Power 20 W) Bruce Peninsula Park (FM (90.7 MHz) : CBPS-FM : Power 50 W)

Nigel.
