Does anyone know the differences between topo maps on CD available from Softmap and Quo Vadis Navigator (available here : http://www.fedpubs.com/mpchrt/maps/topocd.htm )?The prices are quite different but the products appear similar.
The administrator has disabled public write access.

The products are really quite different,

softmaps is one continous map

QV is just scanned version of the Gov maps, however it will also allow you to add your own maps (any pcx, jpg etc.. file).

So for the same coverate QV will have multiple 'maps', and softmap has one
