Tsunami120

Just read a rather surprisingly good review on the Tsunami 120 kayak from Hans who is a kayak instructor and Sea Kayak Coach in the Netherlands. For the full post read here.

It seems that it was chosen to cough the beginners for a very good reason. The sitting position makes it much easier to control and to paddle and adds stability.

Of course that I immediately started thinking about my own kayak which as many sea kayaks is based on the stretched legs position.

If someone that works with kayaks for his living says it is easier to handle and requires less strengths It might be the right time to buy a new kayak for the times that I’m just looking for a pleasant day kayaking and have my regular one for more serious missions.
