Seeking info on Chaudiere River

I am going to be in the Chaudiere-Appalaches region of Quebec this summer and am thinking about canoeing the Chaudiere River. Can anyone provide me with info or sources of info. about the river, such as, navigability, maps, location of rapids (falls) and their class? Where can I obtain info. on water level and flow?

I would also like to canoe camp. Are there places to camp along the River? Do I need permits and where can I get them?
