I'm in the Atlanta, Georgia area but will paddle regionally with suitable people
Recently, I've been doing the grittier paddle/camp trips with a friend ( Richard Grove ) who you may have run into...
We'd love to meet more paddlers (from wherever!) when they paddle in 'our' rivers.
I posted a link in the pro forum for a trip that he planned for June 2009, the
Alabama Cahaba River-X paddle/camp trip.

If anyone has any GPS tracks to share, please consider adding them to everytrail.com so that the rest of us can use them (plus your geotaggged photo's are added to the everytrail Google Earth layer!)
I don't own a GPS unit and it's a pain to draw in river routes manually...
