Safety Advice For Sea Kayakers

I personally don’t take long see kayaking trips so I never thought about the need for a radio or a rescue situation but reading an excellent post on Sea Kayaking Dot Com I realize that this is something that I should consider before my trip next month.

I know that all the safety emphasis might seem too much but a friend of mine had to rescued not so long ago by another kayaker so I suppose he’ll listen more for safety advice now.

BTW found the Google Earth to be a great tool for the planning of kayaking trip and now I can’t understand how we managed without it
