Hey there,

Have any of you ever installed fishing rod holders in your canoe? I'm not talking about something you buy from the store and screw in. But perhaps you created your own holders and attached them.

I'm looking for some ideas for my canoe that are inexpensive, light, and work.

Besides glassing in pvc pipe, I'm not sure what other ideas there are.

is that a light in the middle? white pole thing?

I like the idea of the two holders here.. I'd have to install some additional pieces in my canoe to have holders like that though...

ah nope, not that one.. I don't even want to say what that would look like ha ha

I mean something about 6 -10 inches long that holds the rod during canoe use with the line out.
