Our group is thinking of canoeing into Radiant from Cedar at the beginning of May. Could someone tell me if the upstream current between portages from Radiant to Cedar would be too strong. If it is too strong, how about the route up to Wendigo ?

If I understand your posting, your first choice would be to paddle from Cedar down to Radiant and then retrace your steps. I don't think the current will be too strong - it certainly wasn't a problem in June several years back. There is no discernable current going up to Wendigo (after Clamshell), except in the first part near Radiant. you might have to line.
