I am trying my hand at building my own paddles and I want to make them stand out as my own. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could craft my own unique decals? I will likely make the decal on my computer and printer and then cover the decal with a layer of varnish. I kinda know the design just not how to make it.

Software...... Printable media ideas....... Any ideas???

thanks

Model railroaders make their own decals. If you go to a model railroad specialty shop, they may have decal kits. Basically, it consists of a sheet of decal material that you run through your inkjet printer. Do up the design in a graphics package (or scan one in) and print away. The only problem you might have is the varnish might mess up the decal; experiment. If you can't find these decal kits locally, there are model railroad retailers on the web that have them.

Your best bet is applied vinyl graphics. Then putting your finish on. If go to a graphics shop, they can help you. A cut vinyl will last longer than a inkjet. Or if you need CYMK color, you could have them make a scotchprint for you. Unless you are familiar with these terms, you probably do not have anything that will produce a permanent image. Finally, you could find someone (like a trophy shop) and have them laser engraved. You could either leave then natural engravature showing or color fill it. Then put your finish on top.

I have access to all of the above because that is what I do for a living.

stand out as my own. Does likely make the decal on my I kinda know the design
