Ottawa river suggestion(s)

Where is an 'easy' put in on the Ottawa river for a seakayak day trip. East of Beachburg; white water not intersted, but current is ok, of course I'm looking for a daytrip for several days of about 15-25 km and have a shuttle , because I'm visiting friends in the area.

Put in at Portage du Fort.

There is some swift water just below. Some nice sandy beaches. Visit the falls on the bonnechere river confluance. Visit the islands near Sand bay.

Take out a Norway bay or Arnprior.

Stick on the Quebec side as the prevaling winds wip up waves. As they blow down the river and slightly to the south.
