I have an Old Town Canoe that is about 60 years old. Needs new canvas and interior finishing. I'd like to do it myself. Can anyone point me in a direction where I might learn the in's and outs of how best to precede?

Thanks,

The web site below is for the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association. Lots of info about wood and canvas canoes. Also, lots of links to companies that fix them.
http://www.wcha.org/

If you want to do it yourself, there are some books out there, some are listed on the site. I recommend the'The Wood and Canvas Canoe' by Jerry Stelmok and Rolling Thurlow.

Good Luck, John
