I am new to kayaking looking to do lakes some camping with kayaking and non-whitewater river and sea trips.I am 215 pnds and from my investigation found the Captiva to be within all those peramiters. I also demo'd it and the Dagger savanah and the captive is faster and more weight storage capacity and both vertially the same price. Any other suggestions before I buy would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
You should consider buying the Seakayak or the newer Kodiak, from Prijon.
From my expirience as a seakayak owner, the kayak is very stable roomy and comfortable for long day trips.
