I am considering building a 10' pirogue out of fiberglass and I notice there is not allot of material written about it. I have a mold for it already, I AM green at this. Any help on this would great. I know I need to use EPOXY RESIN that is the only thing I do know about it.

My question is 1) What type of Fiberglass cloth do I need to use for the bottom layer and the top layer. (Woven Roving 24oz 18oz or DOUBLE BIAS ect...) 2) Where can I get Spheretex® (Foam Padding) 3) What type of MOLD RELEASE WAX do I need

Any Help on this would be Greatly Appreciated

Consider stitch and glue plywood, covered with glass and epoxy.

Do a web search for canoe plans and pirogue plans, you'll get a lot of info.
