I'm looking to get a kayak I can paddle in the shallowest of waters. Can anyone recommend a good one. Also need it to be very light.

A whitewater kayak will float on anything bigger and deeper than mouse spit. Wonderful for shallows. Only problem is that tripping out of them can be a pain and the learning curve for keeping them going straight is a bit steep. Get as high a volume one as you can and practice that going straight part.
