Had a little paddle in the dark last night, the moon was incredible. Except for mosquitos (still around in Constance Creek in good numbers) it was amazing. Saw some deer on the way in, and at one point a very angry beaver was 'giving us the tail' within an arm's reach. No otters this time, unfortunately. I tried to take a picture with nothing but the light of the moon, it came out rather artsy-looking (unintended). It felt so good to be out on the water without the steamy humidity.
