March 19~23 Fla Suwannee Float and Camp. Celebrate the Vernal Equinox. From our base camp at the Spirit-of-the-Suwannee Campground (SOS) we will shuttle up to White Springs and float two days down to base camp. Thence float two days to Suwannee River State Park and shuttle back to base camp. (Trip will entail two nights SOS primitive camping & two nights camping on sandbars). You will have the option of joining or leaving the trip on Wednesday evening at SOS. It's logistically feasible to eat up to five of your meals at various restaurants in Live Oak. Canoe rentals are available, and the SPRINGFEST begins on Friday the 23rd at SOS. Primitive camping and shuttle fees apply at SOS. This is a multi-club trip. For details contact

Since Florida is about a three day drive from Ottawa, Canada, the region that the ott.rec.canoe-kayak newsgroup covers, I think it is extremely unlikely that anyone from this area will be attending.
