Hello Everybody,
Please, could someone recommend a flat water canoe route for a week long trip.
Ideally, were looking for a canoe trip in Ontario or Western Quebec and will be with a 4-6 intermediate canoeist. We are keen to do:
* Distance of 100 - 160 kms (depending on the # of Portages, canoe loop or car shuttle) * Temperature range from Single digits at nights and in the Teens in the day * Drive up to 1000kms from Toronto
Thanks,
Bernie

Explore the north channel of Lake Huron, Start at Killarney and head east. French River area may be good too. You could also go from one end to the other of the Rideau Canal (really a series of lakes)

I would highly recommend the Killarney region. I spent a week there tripping around this summer and it is absolutely beautifull. Anywhere in there is a great place but would suggest the north west section of the park, its harder to get at and not as crowded (plus!) but it is one of the nicest areas I have ever seen.
Ontario is full of great canoeing, that's just the one place that sticks out in my mind.
