Looking for a day trip on a local river where I could introduce whitewater to some Brit's. The Picanoc, the missisippi, have been mentioned. Any others?

The Lower Madawaska is a good learning river (if they are already good flatwater boaters and there is a decent whiteinstructor in the group)
