Kayaking With A Twist

kayakingSince I don’t live on the Ice, in the ice or even remotely close to anything resembling ice (except in the freezer) I was completely charmed into what Michael, the Canadian Ckayaker had to say about his first paddle once the ice had thawed

This year I was on the water within hours of the ice leaving and even now share the lake with only a few fishermen. They tend to troll along and don’t get to examine the beach litter, but that’s where a kayak comes in handy.

Now I can completely relate to that kind of thinking.

I love junking - especially free junking. I will stop my car with screeching brakes anytime I drive by an interesting piece of discarded furniture, or lets face it, even a not so interesting piece of discarded furniture will stop my car dramatically….

I’ve got to find a way to combine my two favorite passtimes - Kayaking and junking Surprised

You can always check craigslist and find some junky old kayaks listed.
