Kayaking The Gulf Islands

If you love reading kayaking stories as much as I do I can guarantee that you are really going to enjoy the trip story and beautiful scenes at the Gulf islands trip report.

I’ve never attempted kayaking in areas that are busy with yachts and float planes as I’m not confident enough and would probably feel stressed by the busyness and the noise. But if you’re not alone or don’t mind crossing path with a busy harbor or marine then it seems like a magical trip.

One caution though if you ever paddle Ganges Harbour. Watch out for float planes. I was amazed at the number of float planes coming and going as we paddled along. We were sure to stay close to shore as we didn’t want to become a part of their landing or take off. I would hate to be like these guys…
