Has anyone had any luck waxing old plastic kayaks? I have two that are fairly rough on the bottom and I am wondering if it's possible to wax them with some product to lessen their resistance in the water.

I use Armour All It cleans up the appearence but that is all. Car wax impregnates all the scratches , turns white and makes the boat look worse. I use Armour all or 303. It helps. I shave the curlies off with a pocket knife the odd time too. All the best Alex McGruer
