Kayak Diving?

Is there anybody on this newsgroup (in the Ottawa region) who is, or has been, kayak diving? Or any certified scuba divers who are interested in getting into kayak diving?

I am looking for people to go kayak diving with, I have two sit-on top Cobras that I am outfitting for diving and would be interested in getting together with others who are interested in what has so far been a West coast activity. If anyone has been doing it out here I'd love to exchange info.

Can you explain to me what kayak diving is?

I've seen someone go off a high diving board wth thier kayak half full of water. Is this what you mean?

If you are looking for a good place to do this I would recommend The Thousand Islands. Put in near Gananoque, Ontario. It's a great place to paddle and there are hundreds of wrecks in the area. I have done this trip many times and would do it again, but this summer is no good for I am paddling the Rideau Canal Waterway.
