how to load your kayak solo

hello blog friends, i have a question: i want to know how is it possible to load a kayak on to mu suv solo, it weights 60 lbs and is 14 + feet and i'm only 5 ft tall plus i don't have much upper boddy strenght, can anyone give me some pointers? i love kayaking but don't have a partner to go with and help with loading/unloading. thanks.

My buddy keeps a small three-step step ladder in his trunk to aid in getting his kayak up on top of his vehicle.

thanks! i solved it by sliding my kayak inside my SUV, it leaves about a couple of feet out but i just put a red flag on it, i only go to nearby rivers for now. thanks for the advice!
