Hi everone! I live in Hudson Fl. I'm about 20 miles north of Tampa (go bucs). My whole family are kayaking people. Even my sister and brother got into the act. We have done our share of fresh water fishing, but we really enjoy saltwater fishing. Now is the time here where when the weather cools, the reds, mangrove snapper, snook, and trout bite well. That's the great thing about living here, all year round kayaking. The most of us have emotion kayaks, but we do have one Pungo also.

Hi welcome to the community. You will find good information and great people. I use my Current Designs Kestrel 120 to fish in brackish streams here in New Jersey (small stripers)

Brackish water is fun fishing also. I really just enjoy being out. My mother recently passed away and wants me to take her ashes kayaking as she was always afraid she was going to tip over and shw wasn't a good swimmer.
