I've been searching the web for canoe and kayaking resources, and have found that Canada has some kind of monopoly on this. Can any of you recommend UK resources for me?

There is a U.K. news group for kayaking, but they primarily spend their time arguing about something or other, where different people accuse each other of being crooks.
I follow it on a computer at work, so do not know the group name.
