Has anyone ever hunted dear from a Kayak? I live in Alaska and was thinking of going hunting with my kayak, and was wondering if it would be safe/possible to load the kayak with the deer meat and all the other gear one takes to hunt, or should I do this with a double?

Depends on how you "panch" it I guess.I would recommend quartering it then hanging the quarters and cutting the meat clean off. That way you can pack it in kayak hatches. People I .....heard of use to do this when they were illegally hunting.Made it easier to conceal.

I wouldnt think putting the quarters on top would be a smart move.
