Going Kayaking

Couldn’t help but laugh at this story.

The 23 years old kayaker from Tennessee was arrested after the police found 50 grams of marijuana bud, most of which was stashed in the kayak that was strapped to the top of the car. If not for the dos trying to jump on top of the car he might have been safe.

On a more personal note

I’ve been with the kayak and a couple of friends on a two days of sea kayaking, something that I wouldn’t try alone.

I think that I getting more practice and more confidence so maybe in few months I’ll be much more independent even at sea.

The skills are slightly different than the ones I’ve learned on the rivers but with practice and good guidance I’m getting there.
