I'm thinking of doing a week to 2 week long trip in Frontenac this summer (burgeoning beginner to intermediate level tripper). Does anyone have any information to share on good routes or past trips?

We spent a full day exploring Camel Lake, a reasonbly easy carry in from Big Salmon Lake. It was windy and a lot of work but very scenic and worth it. Some areas shown on the topo as swamp are open (for canoe) and lilly covered. One could explore other waterways from here. Seems like you'll have time, so don't miss this side trip.
