Anyone ever do any tripping in Frontenac Provincial Park?

I've checked the web and it seems like there are a lot of portages to get from lake to lake. Not that I mind much but we are a party of four and two of them are 13 year old boys. One or two 250m portages should be suitable.

Ideally we want to trip in on a Monday, camp for two nights and trip out Thursday.

How's the camping? Lots of flat water? Lots of paddlers?

Suggestions for other locations gladly accepted.

Sandy

I purchased my kayak from Frontenac Outfitters and they had a wealth of information (and suggested routes...there are plenty of portages for most routes, but they had some interesting ideas) I don't have their website address handy, but I think there was some information there, and if not, they may be receptive to an email enquiry. Their shop is right on the edge of the park, and they do trips there often.

You can turn this into an educational event by having the boys count how many nights they should plan diner for.
