I have a small hole approximately the size of a pencil lead in the bottom of my Wilderness Systems Artic Hawk. It completely penetrates the hull approximately 3 ft. from the rear of the kayak. I've been unsucessful in enlisting their support and the retailer's support in getting satisfactory advice on how to repair it. Since it's a rather small hole, I'd like to repair it myself if possible.

Additonally, the bow of the kayak is beginning to show signs of wear to the fiber glass.

What product and procedure should I follow to make this minor repair?

What about the bow wear....can it be easily repaired?

I would recommend that you go to any dealer that sells West Epoxy products, get their instruction book and use it. It is very thorough and the products are excellent.

Cheers,

Just get a fibreglass repair kit at your local hardware store. It'll explain how to use fibreglass. It's really messy but quite easy.
