I have an old Core Craft brand fiberglass canoe. It has several minor cracks on the out side surface. The original colour is faded and flat. I would like to have some bodywork and new paint applied. I'm not sure if this is something I would do myself. Can anyone recommend a place in the Ottawa area the does body work on canoes ?
Also, is it OK to store fiberglass canoe outside during winter months ?
Thanks for your help.

The least expensive, labour intensive .... Try a 'coarse' 'Rubbing Compound' (besure it contains no wax or silicone) a small amount on a soft cloth .... rub away...
Tip.... Try it on the bottom first .... it's a bummer running out of energy and having a half shiny boat!
Finish and seal with a good quality 'Acrylic Polish'
Cheers
