For WW kayaks (I do not know if sea kayaks and canoes are included) you can try 'Wild Rock Outfitters' in Peterborough. All of their 2002 rentals (from their Peterborough store, their Minden store and their Ottawa store) go on sale on Sept 7th. I just bought a new WW kayak there last Wednesday(Wave Sport ACE 4.7). Regular early season price was $1549. It was on sale for $1149 but for their end of season sale it was down to $999. It was the best price I could find.

There is a sale on kayaks and canoes at Outdoors Unlimited in St. Catharines. I bought a kayak there in the may sales.
Try the langford canoe site as well.
