I was speaking to the Algonquin Park Information service last week about the Crow. They said that water levels were high at the moment, and there were no obstructions on the Crow (at least between Proulx and Lavieille).

Does anyone know what the water levels are on the Crow River in Algonquin? We're heading up for the last week in Sept. Thanks.

Eh? Algonquin Park isn't in the US. Also, I've travelled the entire length of the Crow River and never seen anything resembling a streamflow gauge on it.
Most canoeists just see the Crow in the summer between Big Crow and Lavielle at which time it is usually just like a little stream. I've been on the Crow below Lavielle in mid-May when the river was still swollen with spring runoff. It was a bit of a grunt because we were travelling upstream from the point where White Partridge creek enters the river!
The best place for information about water levels on the Crow would be the Algonquin Outfitter store at Opeongo. Unfortunately I don't have their phone number.
