Hi
I would like to build some sort of rig so that I can add a motor to my kayak whenever I am in the mood to go fishing without all the paddling involved.
I was wondering if anyone has done this before and could guide me on how to build the rig.
Thanks

I am presuming you have a sit-on-top kayak.

Here is a link to a site that built their own motor mount. http://www.paddle-fishing.com/fos/rigging/ trollmotor.htm

This next site is set up more in a "how-to" motorize your kayak format. http://www.canopy.net/sunspot/

Here is another site that has some informaiton on mounting a motor to a kayak. http://www.islandhopperoutboards.com/
