I'm thinking to buy coleman's canoe, any suggestion or idea about coleman's product. All suggestion will be appreciate.

Coleman and Canoe; In the same sentence ?

Heavy, hard to paddle, portage, does not even make a good table in camp when upside down. I understand thru second hand info that they can be hard to repair.

Depending on your needs, I would look for a good used canoe in that price range.

My last name is Coleman. I still would not buy one, even though it would already be personalized.

The Coleman air mattresses float really nice though.

But would you buy a Scott canoe?

I saw a Coleman canoe for C$600 at Price Club. It looked like something you would putter around in at the cottage: - flat bottom - stable for fishing - tough plastic that kids can't wreck. - built-in beer cooler (I am NOT making this up!)

I wouldn't want to portage it or take it on even a day trip.
