I have a 16' cedar strip canoe, some 50 years old in good shape, for sale. It is either a Peterborough or New-Brunswick-made (Beechwood?) cruising canoe with canvas cover, the webbing in the front seat is gone and many ribs should be replaced, but it works fine as is and would be a good restoration project. Any idea what it may be worth?

Mike,

Has your canoe got a keel? I have no idea on its worth. Norm

If you check around in th eWCHA they probably have links that will help yopu. Or query them (or their discussion board if they have one) and you will get some folks who can answer you.

Mike; I would be interested in hearing what you get in the way of suggested value. I have several old canoes and the info would be appreciated. Regards Harold Hodder
