Canadian Tire had revised their 15' 6' Coleman canoe and I wondering if anybody has any experience or thoughts on it. I'm looking for a tough boat that I can take wilderness tripping. I'm concerned that it might be too heavy but haven't been able to get any info on how much it weighs. The price is pretty good and that is one of my concerns. Any info is appreciated -

Personally I wouldn't touch a Coleman boat. They are heavy and uncomfortable to carry. The only 'good' aspect is they track brilliantly - but then if you want to go down any river be prepared to bounce over obstacles From others experience the material is exactly bombproof either.

Try Old Town Discoveries. Still not the lightest but comfortable, bombproof and manoeuvrable and a reasonable price compared to Royalex boats.
