Carbonlite 2000 or Airalite

I am considering buying a kayak made of Carbonlite 2000 or Airalite but have some concerns. Does anyone have any experience with kayaks made of Carbonlite 2000 or Airalite?

I have a friend with a Modulus system boat from Edyline. Nice enough boat . It gets a great deal of use and he is an exceptional paddler . The boat sees more sea time that most ever will . The boat is not treated nicely in deed sees more brutality than my plastic Caprella and I would never pound my NDK like he pounds that boat. The edyline is doing well and has one minor repair. My NDK has several and the gekll coat is ,, well, used. my Capella Plastic , shows its age. The Carbonlite and Airlite materials seek to be doing well. They are stiff and resiliant. I would be more inclined to buy a boat for design that material all the same. All things even I would love an Explorer with Mudulus Kevlar and Carbonlite. I doubt I could ever afford such a creature though. They are all new and only time will tell. What I have seen of them is all good. ood Luck
