I'm was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on where I be able to might find a chair for my 2 year old child that I can fit in the center of my canoe. Obvioulsy it would have a low center of gravity but high enough to allow for a decent field of view. I would like something with a recline to it so as to allow for a pleasent sleeping experience. I guess I'm not being too picky now am I? Those wire framed 'jiggle' chairs would be perfect (you know, the ones you put a battery in and they shake your child) but my son is a little too big for them now. I appreciate any help anyone can provide.

We have used small plastic chairs that you can buy for $2 or so at DollarStores. They have no arms, and are lower to the ground than most kid's plastic chairs. You can fit two side by side for 2 kids - they work until the kids are about 6 years old. I have also seen them at AvalonKids in E end a couple of years ago. Great for using on campsite and weigh next to nothing. Usually they have some graphics on them that the kids like too.
