It is winter time and I am browsing through some books. On page 17 of Canoecraft by Ted Moores there is picture of Canoe-golf. This pictures shows three canoes being paddled by ladies. In one of them a lady is standing in the canoe hitting a golf ball that floats on a piece of wood right next to the canoe. I wonder where they are aiming at. The picture is from the Bettmann Archive and the description is as follows: 'Canoes, despite their utilatarian roots, became a symbol of Sunday leisure, Canoe-golf was one of the more ludicrous' canoe crazes of the Twenties'.

Something to try this summer.

It might help out your game actually. I'd imagine you would need a pretty smooth stroke to avoid going in the drink..
