Hello; For those that know the Bon Echo, Mazinaw lake area I have a question as to where Camping is available. Obviously it is available at Bon Echo proper. There is also camping at Joeperry & Pearson lakes.
What about along Mazinaw Lake? There is supposed to be a canoe route that goes along Mazinaw lake, then Kishkabus lake, etc and down to the south end of Mazinaw Lake so there must be camping spots located along it somewhere?
Cheers - Ross

The Kishkebus route is very short, an easy day trip, so there aren't any
camp sites on it (or there weren't when we did it less than 5 years ago)

Hi Ross,
There is a route that goes through Crotch Lake (real name I'm afraid) from Bon Echo, forget what it's called. Crotch Lake is quite wild and semi-deserted since the Municipality of North Frontenac started charging camping fees. Lots of good campsites and I've seen plenty of animals there (bear, skinks, deer, snapping turtles laying eggs 20 feet from my tent).
