I'm interesting in a building a canoe - but I haven't the slightest idea where to get a kit. I'm not even sure what kind I want to build. Originally I wanted to build a cedar strip, but the few kits i've found advertised on the net are around 1500 bucks. Does anybody have any advice on where I can get kits, and maybe some web pages or books that can provide some general info?

thanks,

This one website also has some links to Bear Mountain, but also has his own kits.

BTW, he's based in Dunrobin:
