I can't say Ihave. However my goal for this year is to have a yost SOF for this summer for just this purpose. I'm homwever going to put my equip in a backpack and carry the SOF kayak once I get to portages in Algonquin park.

I have tried with one of my heavy poly rec kayaks and it was a pain to portage and very auckward in the bush.

I used a kayak kart to portage around dams in the Ottawa river, however I had about 100lbs of kit plus kayak.

If your gonna pack real light ( Iusually ty as well) why not have it in a bag that you can throw on your back. Makes good for rocky landings or landings where you have to lift the kayak up as well.
