Anybody paddle in the winter with water proof padded trousers? (Kind of like what you would use for snowboarding or skiing?) If so, I would appreciate recommendations.
Thanks

This kind of pants are OK to keep you Dry while paddling However if you tip and go in the water they are wothless. In winter paddling the rule is Dress for imersion. I would highly recomend a Drysuit or Drypants/Drytop designed for Kayaking if you are planning on paddling in cold water (Even in Flat or slow water) You could get away wearing them if you were neopreme farmer johns under them with a drytop. But alone as your dry system I say No way Jules
Paddlin' a P&H Quest LV or a Current Designs Kestrel 120 TCS all over the Garden State!!
